Exhibitors Timeless Tube engineer tube-based showcase for Southern Manufacturing and Electronics trade fair

Tube-forming specialists Timeless Tube have been busy creating a stunning showcase of unique tube samples to inspire engineers and manufacturers at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Show (Farnborough International Exhibition Centre, 4 – 6 February 2025).

The British tube profile experts custom-engineer metal tubing for product designers, engineers and manufacturers from across the world. They will be presenting the design possibilities that these profiles offer at this leading UK exhibition for engineers and manufacturers, inviting industry professionals to pop along to the stand to explore how alternative shaped tubes can improve strength, safety and user experience.

“We have previously custom-made tubing for marine and automotive clients’ exhibition stands, including flat-sided oval for a digital kiosk and oval tube supports for an elegant open display unit…it’s now our turn to form and fabricate furniture and frames for our own stand.” says Timeless Tube Managing Director Tom McMillan.

 Visitors to the Timeless Tube stand can expect to see and hold a range of innovative tube samples, including a slim flat-sided oval tube used to house cabling for an aerospace application, and a clever mechanical connector designed in-house to dry-join any size or shape of railing.

“Our uniquely shaped metal tube profiles exist to enable innovation. Efficiency, ergonomics, style and strength can be improved upon using these alternatives to standard round tube or pipe” says Timeless Tube Managing Director Tom McMillan. "We look forward to meeting with engineers and manufacturers to discover more potential applications we can help to innovate or improve upon using these bespoke forms.”

Renowned for quick prototyping work, the Timeless Tube team regularly develop new shapes and sizes from stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass. In recent years they have focussed on developing new fabrication techniques that can accommodate complex tube geometries, providing a complete solution for production managers and manufacturers. New for 2025, the tube specialists can form radiused square and oval tubes with rounded tube ends. “Our capability to return the tube ends back to round offers numerous possibilities for engineers – whether it is for food manufacturing equipment or train interiors.” adds McMillan.
